Mahshid Marbouti –  Editor

Mahshid Marbouti received her PhD in Computer Science from the University Of Calgary in 2018. In her PhD research, she has developed a novel method to bring Artificial Intelligence(AI) into the filtering of social media posts using analysts feedback in a visual interactive way. Mahshid is being involved in design and development of AI solutions in various domains including emergency response, health, finance, energy, and hydrology. Mahshid is currently a Software Engineer at Shareworks by Morgan Stanley. She is also the co-organizer of Women in Big Data Meetup group in Calgary.

Ankit Patel – Associate Editor (Eastern Canada)

Ankit Patel received M.Engg. in Internetworking Engineering at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS Canada in 2018. He did his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gujarat University in India. He is currently working in Rogers Communication Brampton location as Enterprise Technical Specialist since 2018.

Ankit joined IEEE from 2013 and since then he has been member of IEEE, VOLT and HKN under this organization. He is awarded by Gujarat Section (Region 10) for Outstanding Contribution in 2014 and Chapter Outstanding Engineer award by Gujarat Section PES Chapter in 2016. He had worked extensively at Student Branch, Chapter, Section and Region level as chair, advisor and volunteer positions. He is also associated with some humanitarian organizations and NGOs in both India and Canada.
